No Days Wasted started as a personal science project. A few years after graduating from college, I started to feel awful after after a night out… I tried everything to deal with the next day – Tylenol, greasy food, sports drinks, vitamins – but nothing seemed to work. I decided to put my background in science to work and I researched what the ACTUAL PROBLEM was… and discovered it was the build of a toxin called Acetaldehyde – alcohol’s toxic byproduct.
I dove deep into the science of powerful, plant-based antioxidants that help break down this pesky toxin, and learned the the right blend of DHM, L-Cysteine, Milk Thistle and Prickly Pear – at the right amounts and purity can help immensely. I had to prove it to myself and my friends. So I ordered a ton of the raw ingredients and started experimenting. I went backpacking through Europe with my best friend and after 30 days of testing these ingredients and different delivery methods – we were convinced that we had the solution. We further optimized our optimized our blend, shared it with friends and my local community and confirmed that it was the perfect blend to bounce back after a night out! From here - DHM Detox Recovery Blend was officially born.
I launched a crowdfunding campaign, via Indiegogo, to pre-sell the product and fund our first production run. The campaign was a success with over $32,000 sold in 45 days! This was enough to help us launch and from there, No Days Wasted was officially born!
